Eileen said "Water is a necessity for life and it should not be privatized."

Food is privatized and we have an abundance. So should water. Government is inefficient, slow, and can't supply enough water. Private enterprise can and should pick up the entire tab. Water should be metered and the entire system open for bid. It sounds like this is the direction of the HB city government. They can and should stay out of it and allow Posiedon to assume the cost and charge what they need.

Water is a necessity for life and it should not be privatized. Poseidon Resources is a private company Stop desalination with Poseidon while there's still time.Poseidon's web page has a link that says successes. Their sucesses are Tampa Bay, HB and carlsbad. What's the success in HB and carlsbad. They aren't even built. Tampa Bay had to buy them off and still is having trouble after 8 years with no water.

One question to ask dh Don Hansen who was the swing vote, what is the financial worthiness of Poseidon Resources. Do they have a positive Tangible Net Worth to undertake this type of project? What is the status of Performance Bonds and Completion Bonds?

Would his company provide capital leasing to Poseidon Resources without any cross corporate guarantees? I don’t think so.

When you do business with an insolvent company/ corporations you have no legal recourse. The Court rules that you knowingly did business with an insolvent corporation, thus no recovery Nada, Nothing.

Show me the Financial Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements Mr dh Don Hansen. Look at the $975,000 that the Sport Complex builder stole from the City that was never recovered. Results: the City Attorney got a raise while us taxpayers had to pay for that raise and make up the difference. Transparency dh Don Hansen—where is it.

Uh oh.... Poseidon was bought out of the Tampa Plant BEFORE it was built. The desal plant plans were changed AFTER Poseidon was no longer the owner and, had they not been bought out, any problems would have been Poseidon's, not the water drinkers of Tampa Bay.
P.S. Tampa Bay Water's reservoir is a mess too as is the water treatment plant. Poseidon had nothing to do with either of those things.
